Green Socks

Well I think that green socks is a really important campaign in our school, because it help us to recognize our selves by the only thing that makes us different our socks. I think that its logo is good, only that it could be a little more colorful, but also its shows what important the GREEN SCOKS.

Place at School, J.P.C Library

One place at school that is really fantastic is the J.P.C library, it is located next to the Bach and pre-primary section, been closer to Bach. This place is so “popular” between students because it is the place in which they usually study for test, print work or do homework. Socorro is one of many people that help in the library; she is the one in charge of running the place, so she knows where every book is. There are also other things in the library like audiovisuals and the Junior library.

Values at School

I think that the main values of the school are really important because they teach you how to be a better person in life. For example the values are: Integrity, honesty and justice. All these values are connected one to each other, you cant be an honest person if you don’t are a person that knows the meaning of integrity and vice versa in all values. So what the school is trying to do is not only make us students academics but a whole person that lives values.

Icontec Rules

This is a way to organized your essays, works and any type of handing work on computer. This form of organizing your work has several points. One is that all the pages have to have specific margins. Also it obligates you to certain physical aspects of your work for example the titles that have to be in bold. There is an other point that is to make an list of picture, this means for that every picture that the text has it should be included in the list. Apart from the list of pictures there is also the list of tables, this means that for every table there is in the text it should be included in the list. Also it shows you how to organize the table of content, according to chapters, subchapter and subsubchapter. There is also the rule that you need to make your paper format as letter. All this rules are applied only for Colombia.

Cali, Colombia

This city is known as the capital of the “SALSA” this is a Cuban dance, but they say that the “CALEÑOS” dance it better. This city is located in the departamento Del Valle; in fact it is the capital of the deparment. Cali is also known for the pretty ladies that live in this beautiful town. Cali is one of the best cities in the whole of Colombia.

No to the Alchol

I am against the alcohol for many reasons. One because alcohol is the one that most causes accidents, because people are not responsible enough of not driving if they had drink. And this is not only in Colombia this is in the entire world; many young, adult and old people are dying because of the effect of the alcohol. Not to mention that small kids are able to obtain this stuff and they are drinking and this is very dangerous.

Andres Mauricio Celin Valcarcel

He is my brother he is now living in China because he won a scholarship for studding I.B for 2 years. He is now 18 years old and he is thinking on studding economics in USA. He has a girlfriend name Monica and I assume he is very in loved. He likes very much the music and he plays the guitar and he plays really good. Here in Cali he had a band and he was involved in 3 of the schools musicals. He is now coming to visit us for summer and I am waiting for him to come.

Cartagena de Indias, Colombia

Cartagena de Indias is located in the Caribbean part of Colombia. It is a beautiful place to go on vacations, this city offers all kind of diversions for example if you want to go to a place where you can dance there is “TU CANDELA” , or if you want to go all the day to the beach you can go to the “HOTEL CARIBE” and if you want to know part of the history of this city you can visit the “CIUIDAD VIEJA” this little city inside the real city is surrounded by a wall and inside this wall there is a bunch of history about Cartagena.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

This is the 6th book of the series called Harry Potter, of course this book is written by J.K Rowling, I choose this book as my favorite because it is the book were most of the history of Harry Potter is revealed and also it is as funny as the other ones. This book is related to the 5th book because it explains a lot of things that were unconcluded, for example why Snape did heated Sirius. An other thing that is very interesting is the Half Blood Prince, who is he? This book is mostly good because it has more drama than the other ones.

Johnnie Walker "Keep Walking"

This advertisement has been done almost around the world. This type of wiskey has several brands for example there is Red Label, Black Label, Blue Label, Gold Label, Swing and Green Label this different types of whisky are produce according to the "needs" of their clients. Johnnie Walker campaign "Keep Walking" has been promoted massively, with TV campaign, magazine and even the in the F1.

I think that the image that Diageo uses is great is just a cartoon of a man walking and this makes you focus only in the words that is what is important.
